Linocut print on Somerset paper
12x8 in
"Woman in Red" was the first print I made for the BYUI print exchange in 2017. I made this print thinking about the indigenous people in Mexico because they are still being mistreated by society and the government. In a way, it feels as if we haven't really evolved as a society. This print is a linocut, each color is a different linocut block. Print for the BYUI Printmaking exchange "Surreal Reality" of Fall 2017
